Potential Health Benefits
Konjac has several potential health benefits apart from weight loss, reduction of belly fat, and many other things like
1. Glucomannan in Konjac reduce fat, sugar, and cholesterol in blood
2. Low in calories
(Low-cal konjac noodles or shirataki noodles 100g = 15–20)
3. Glucomannan may regulate bowel movement and relieve constipation naturally
4. Konjac has very little taste of its own. Therefore, it will not exactly affect your food tastes. (Anyway, Some products have been developed such as using konjac in coffee instead of Cream which makes taste smooth & using stevia instead of sugar)
However, stop taking konjac if you have any symptoms of an allergic reaction especially a rash and itchy skin. Children and Pregnant Women should not have konjac because of Flatulence and food struck in a child’s throat.
